A Lifelong Love for Pure, Immersive Music

As a South African local DJ, K-More made a name for himself in the prominent social circles of his home town Matatiele. This is
where his love and passion for the craft of being a disc jockey was ignited. He has been a regular feature in the club scene in his
hometown as well as a resident DJ in one of the most popular local nighttime spots. In younger years, when he was still a
scholar, he was part of a group of collaborative musicians and DJ s, who referred to themselves as The Lion Boys. They were
very well known locally during that phase on K-more s journey. This was grassroots stage for the young rising star K-More.
During this time he adopted a reputation on the decks. Which lead to the beginning of his following. During this time of earning
his stripes, he later got dubbed The King of Gqom in his community.
2017 marks the start in his search of more opportunity, K-More moved his hustle and drive to the city, Johannesburg to focus &
pursue his passion on a bigger platform. In efforts to gain a larger audience and reach more people, he entered the Red Square
DJ Knockout Challenge in Benoni. Where he made it 2nd place out of more than 10 hopeful participants. His first single, titled
Victory features the well-known DJ Nastor of Pushi Plan Music. As a growing new talent, the young DJ K-More is still eagerly
learning the workings of the competitive industry, actively showing his commitment and aggressive drive towards showcasing
his talent, not just as a DJ but an artist who is innovative and cutting edge are the right ingredients to get him to the next level of
his budding career and to make him a household name. The single - Victory has been available on iTunes from June 2018. In
October 2019, K-More was a participant of the well-known competition by Studio88 Mix on the Move DJ competition. Which
required fans to vote for the best mix. He put together a fire bomb set which had submitted to participate. This then resulted in a
traction from voters who earned him first place, therefore the winner of the completion. An announcement was made at the end
of October 2019 on air and social platforms from Studio88.
In 2020, the world changed, but that gave him a broader reason to pursue bigger and better ventures as a rising star. In this time
he released mix tapes online of his sessions when he up skilled his learning of new DJ softwares. As we look forward into 2023
K-More is looking forward to releasing some his unleased projects and a whole lot more.
